focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well...

A far better day, yesterday.

There were 34 rated races,

In one of them, the top rated horse was a non-runner, leaving 33 races.

9 of those races were won by the top rated horse, which gives us a very respectable strike rate of 27.27%

The really nice thing is that, had you blindly backed every top rated horse you would have had 35.625 points (to ISP) returned to your 33 points staked.

This equates to a POI (Profit on Investment) of 7.95%

We started the day off well with us getting the first three horses in the 2:00 at Hexham. Unfortunately they weren't in the right order but the Combination Trifecta paid £53.90

In the 4:45 at Galway we went one better and got the first threee horses in the right order. The Forecast paid £53.11 to a £1 stake and the Trifecta paid £114.80 to a £1 stake.

Something to make you smile...

A passenger leaned over...

A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb, and stopped just inches from a large plate glass window.

For a few moments everything was silent in the cab, and then the still shaking driver said, "I'm sorry but you scared the daylights out of me."

The frightened passenger apologized to the driver and said he didn't realize a mere tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.

The driver replied, "No, no, I'm sorry, it's entirely my fault. Today is my first day driving a cab. I've been driving a hearse for the last 25 years."

Have a great day's racing!

As always...

My kindest regards
