Morning News – 24/11/2020

Good morning...

I spent most of yesterday getting the Builder working for Early Bird Ratings members.

In the process I've come up with a few pretty sweet systems.

I'll be publishing them tomorrow.

Although Early Bird Ratings sues exactly the same formula as Focus Ratings...

It does seem to come up with higher priced winners.

Also, and obviously, sometimes there is the opportunity to snag higher prices or BOG (Best Odds Guaranteed.)

Everything should be done and dusted for EarlyBird Ratings today and then I'll move on to getting the Builder on Intelligent Betting sorted out.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 64.53 units returned to 100 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -35.47%

Top Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the top rated horses from 33 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 19.94 units returned to 33 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -39.58%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the second rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13.75 units returned to 34 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -59.56%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the third rated horses from 33 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.84 units returned to 33 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -6.55%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 11 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 4 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 36.36%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 6.12 units returned to 11 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -44.36%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 11 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 6 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 54.55%

Something to make you smile...

The Costume Party...

A couple was invited to a swanky masked Halloween party.

The wife came down with a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone.

He, being a devoted husband, protested, but she argued and said she was to take some aspirin and go to bed, and there was no need on his good time being spoiled by not going.

So he took his costume and away he went.

The wife, after sleeping soundly for one hour, awakened without pain, and as it was still early, she decided to go to the party.

In as much as her husband did not know what her costume was she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him.

She joined the party and soon spotted her husband cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every woman he could find and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there.

His wife sidled up to him and being a rather sexy babe herself he left his partner high and dry and devoted his time to the new stuff that had just arrived.

She let him go as far as he wished since he was her husband.

Finally he whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had a little fun.

Just before unmasking at midnight she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and got into bed wondering what kind of explanation he would make for his behavior.

She was sitting up reading when he came in and asked what kind of a time he had.

He said "Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're not there."

Then she asked if he danced much.

He said, "I never danced once. Pete, Bill and I went into the den and played poker all night. But the guy I loaned my costume to sure had a real good time!"
