Good morning...
This week, I'll be getting things ready for the restart of GB racing next Monday.
As a result I shall be sending out the ratings on Sunday morning.
Obviously, if you click on the link for the ratings (in whichever format that you use) the PDF will be empty.
This is just a test to ensure that things go well for Monday.
I have made some changes to the script that produces the ratings (mainly tidying up the process and removing stuff that we no longer use) and I'd really feel happier having a test run on Sunday.

Spotlight Ratings
Well, we did quite well with the Spotlight Ratings yesterday...
If you can say that from the 2 rated races, our top rated horse won in both of them.
I think that that's a pretty good definition of doing quite well.
In our first race (and our first ever race in Japan), out top rated horse (Daring Tract) won @ 3/5. Now I know that anyone can pick an odds on fav to win but, when I compiled the ratings there were no forecast prices and, anyway, the ratings don't take forecast price into account - they just look at past form.
In our other race (Deauvilee - 15:25) our top rated horse also won. Call the Win won at 2/5 and our second rated horse came second. The forecast paid 2.10
I've only managed to find 2 Spotlight Ratings races to rate today.
There are 2 Grade 1 races at Santa Anita (USA) today - they are early afternoon races but that means that they'll be early evening races for us.

Something to make you smile...
My Self-Isolation Coronovirus Quarantine Diary:
Day 1 – I can do this!! Got enough food and wine to last a month!
Day 2 – Opening my 8th bottle of wine. I fear wine supplies might not last!
Day 3 – Strawberries: Some have 210 seeds, some have 235 seeds. Who Knew??
Day 4 – 8 p.m.: Removed my Day Pajamas and put on my Night Pajamas.
Day 5 – Today, I tried to make hand sanitiser. It came out as Jell-O Shots!!
Day 6 – I get to take the garbage out. I’m so excited, I can’t decide what to wear.
Day 7 – Laughing way too much at my own jokes!!
Day 8 – Went to a new restaurant called “The Kitchen.” You must gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place is still in business.
Day 9 – I put liquor bottles in every room. Tonight, I’m getting all dressed up and going bar hopping.
Day 10 – Struck up a conversation with a spider today. Seems nice. He’s a web designer.
Day 11 – Isolation is hard. I swear my fridge just said, “What the hell do you want now?”
Day 12 – I realized why dogs get so excited about something moving outside, going for walks or car rides. I think I just barked at a squirrel.
Day 13 – If you keep a glass of wine in each hand, you can’t accidentally touch your face.
Day 14 – Watched the birds fight over a worm. The Cardinals lead the Blue Jays 3-1.
Day 15 – Anybody else feel like they’ve cooked dinner about 395 times this month?
Professional Help
A guy had been feeling down for so long that he finally decided to seek the aid of a psychiatrist.
He went there, lay on the couch, spilled his guts then waited for the profound wisdom of the psychiatrist to make him feel better.
The psychiatrist asked him a few questions, took some notes then sat thinking in silence for a few minutes with a puzzled look on his
face.Suddenly, he looked up with an expression of delight and said, "Um, I think your problem is low self-esteem. It is very common among losers."
Today
Whatever you are up to today...
Stay safe and healthy.
As always...
My kindest regards
